Overview
I worked on 55 decibela as the on-set sound recordist, film editor and music composer, and handled colour grading and post-production.
Directed by Tomislav Krnić, with Filip Kos as director of photography and Doris Kramarić as producer.
55 decibela follows Croatia's deaf national handball team through preparations and the journey to the 2025 Deaflympics in Tokyo. Directed by Tomislav Krnić, the documentary moves between training, competition and the everyday relationships that hold the team together.
The crew spent a month alongside the players, documenting the pressures of injury, demanding preparations and the pursuit of another Deaflympic title. Beyond the results, the film focuses on friendship, humour, uncertainty and the shared determination of a team whose achievements deserve a wider audience.
The film premiered on 26 September 2026 at Cineplexx City Center one East in Zagreb. Its poster carries the team's words: “Mi ne čujemo. Mi osjetimo.” — “We don't hear. We feel.”
